If you want to help promote this Forum, feel free to use this banner:

Image

Small size (300x54): http://www.littlegeese.com/images/banner1s.png

Medium size (500x90): http://www.littlegeese.com/images/banner1m.png - recommended for most purposes.

Big size (1000x180): http://www.littlegeese.com/images/banner1b.png

Additionally, if there are artists interested in designing additional banners for this website, please contact the staff with your work. Any help in promoting this Forum is greatly appreciated.

Can this be used on TON as a signature? Just copy and paste?

Absolutely! As a matter of fact, it's my TON signature!

Of course, every forum has their own rules regarding what can go into signatures and what not, and Little Geese: The Ocarina Forum cannot be held responsible for any possible damages (such as warnings) that might occur because somebody did not like you using our banner.

But as far as Little Geese: The Ocarina Forum is concerned, you are free to use this banner as your signature anywhere on the internet (as long as you do not modify the content of it or make it link to some other website, of course). In fact, it would be greatly appreciated here if you did whatever you can to raise awareness about our little place here (by me personally, and I'm sure, by many others).

Unfortunately, I'm not able to use that banner as my signature on TON - it was edited out by admins there and I cannot edit my signature. Though, others are using it, it seems. However, discussing admin policies of other forums is off topic here, so I will not comment on this any more (we can talk about it over PM or IRC).

As far as using other forums' banners as signature here, you are allowed to do that, of course. As of now, we have no rules against promoting your own website or a website that you support. In fact, one of the goals when making this forum was that it be a place where ocarina makers and musicians could promote their work and receive unbiased and uncensored feedback. You are only asked to follow our Forum Rules (no. 1 and no. 8 are relevant to this), which say that you must not post unsuitable content (irrelevant spam, nudity, illegal or hateful content) and that your signature must not be too large and flashy and that the staff here has the right to remove it if they judge that it distracts from the rest of the forum. I think that everyone who is reasonable will agree with these rules.

It's quite unfortunate they don't want members promoting us over there, we are just another resource :( .

Yes, and from what I've seen, quite a resourceful resource.

Well, that's just out of spite. You shouldn't feel too bad about it as this was obviously a decision based on bias and feeling threatened - which is just really, really silly. It's sad that this has had to happen but it's beyond our control.
Internet drama is amusing though, isn't it.

...as if one cannot be a member of two ocarina forums.

But let's not speculate about why our signature is not allowed on TON. It is off topic.
