The sound of this ocarina is rather nice, did you make it? Very good!


In my opinion, the volume of the backtrack is just a bit too high. As far as your playing is concerned, it is pretty good, the only detail that I can find objectionable is how the long notes end with a "fadeout" - this doesn't work very well on the ocarina (especially on low breath ocarinas), because the pitch drops a lot, and that sounds a bit like an old record player suddenly unplugged...

Yes this was played on a spiritwind alto C. I made a lot of adjustments to the breath requirements and sound and this was the result. Thanks for the compliment, and also thanks for the tips. I'll take a look at the fade out thing and test the difference and see if I like it how your suggesting also. And I'll take a look at the volume of the back track also.
