The forum's ABC plugin seems to have gone wrong. An update to the plugin used on TON was responsible for that one going wrong recently - the symptoms here are different but it still isn't right.

Where did the ABC source go? The idea is you should be able to see it as well as the generated staff notation.

Nothing changed here, it should all work as before. This is not TON.

So I have to paste the source in twice? Okay.

Yes, use
...
tags to display code and [abc]...[/abc] tags to display music notation. This way you can separately control each one as you wish.

Thanks. I have suggested that melodeon.net set up the same sort of facility (since they get a LOT of ABC tunes posted). Thread here:

http://forum.melodeon.net/index.php/topic,17016.0.html

Clive Williams (long term member of melodeon.net) has one of the best ABC converter sites on the web: http://www.clivew.com/abc.php . They have the technical expertise to do it right.

Actually, Clive Williams' webpage uses the same visual rendering engine for ABC as this forum. I could add support for QuickTime and midi download, but is it really necessary here? I doubt it.

Here, it was meant as a quick way to type simple sheet music directly into forum posts.
