I've found a couple of literary mentions of the ocarina (they aren't very flattering) and added quotes to my ocarina page. I'll probably find more, but there are likely to be more in Italian than in English, and I've read very little Italian literature written since the ocarina was invented.

Suggestions? Does it feature in a novel by Silone or a poem by Ungaretti? Does somebody die horribly from one in an Andrea Camilleri detective story?
